Arthritis Pain Tendonitis and Sciatica, Are they serious

Not as bad as frequent. The osteoarthritis, so widespread, affecting mainly the joints of the knees, hands and hips, but sometimes the spine, and is due to degeneration of cartilage covering the ends of bones. May occur prematurely if the joints have been extensively used, as in some sports and professions. Sometimes quite incapacitating consequences, such as in arthritis hip, which in extreme cases require a hip replacement implant.

The tendinitis is inflammation of a tendon, is hip, shoulder, knee, or Achilles tendon. Tendinitis can develop a force overuse these body parts in a sport or a repetition of movement in any profession or manual. It is not uncommon; for example, see hiker’s patients suffering tendinitis in his heels after a long march with the wrong shoes, what has caused repetitive micro trauma to the Achilles tendon.

http://www.herbalcureindia.com/products/shilajit-dabur.htm -Herb for Anti-Aging, Shilajit, in Ayurveda is considered a 'rasayana, the rejuvenator', which helps to increase strength, immunity and vitality.

The sciatica is also very common. It often appears after exercise or poor posture, and is manifested by pain in the lower back at the level of the lumbar spine (low back). The pain, which can be very disabling, follows the path of the sciatic nerve and sometimes down the leg, along the thigh.

To get an idea of the number of cases, it is considered that the osteoarthritis knee, tendinitis in the arm, osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis represent a total of approximately 60% of the diagnoses of rheumatism.

What is rheumatoid arthritis?
The arthritis is an inflammatory disease of the joints. There is talk of mono-arthritis if it affects only one joint, oligoarthritis if it affects some more, until three, and poly-arthritis when inflammatory signs are present in four or more joints. Many poly-arthritis debut initially as mono-arthritis. Not yet fully know the mechanisms of this disease, also called arthritis chronic progressive, unless is a autoimmune disease.

These occurs more frequency in the joints of the hands and wrists and finally produces deformations and bone loss. It manifests itself especially among 40 and 60 and affects women more. Certain forms may appear after age 70 and approximately ten percent are hereditary.

What is the process of this disease?
The term rheumatoid arthritis means that there are rheumatoid factors in the blood, but not systematically. Normally, inflammation is a sign that our natural defenses, also called immune defenses, are acting against external aggression. In the case of this disease, inflammation occurs in the synovial membrane, which covers and lubricates the interior of a joint. Therefore it is said that the arthritis is an autoimmune disease that attacks the body itself.

Another feature is the alternation of periods of crisis, also called "shoots", during which the pain can be particularly intense, and periods of calm. Inflammation is manifested in multiple environments at once: in the symposium in the tendon sheath, cartilage and bone. As a result of inflammation, synovial membrane produces more fluid than necessary, it is accumulated, the membrane becomes thicker, the joint becomes swollen, the surrounding tissues harden and become painful. This process can cause irreparable damage to the joint, producing deformations and eventually disability. The rheumatoid arthritis is recognized as a disabling disease.

Misconceptions about Arthritis and Food

It is all too often and completely unwarranted links between acid blood and rheumatism and gout. The claim that sour or acidic foods like tomatoes and yogurt making gout and other rheumatic diseases would cause was therefore entirely out of thin air.

Food makes blood acidic
The acidity of the blood is in no way influenced by foods that contain high or low acidity would. The acidity (pH) of blood from the power supply by a number of control mechanisms in our body is closely regulated. An increase in the acidity in the blood is only in very severe, acute illnesses which are fast terminal.

The acidity of the blood has nothing to do with the uric acid concentration in the blood is increased in gout. 99 % of uric acid in the blood is also present in the form of orate, the neutral salt of uric acid.

No food allergy
Another major misconception is that arthritis is due to a food allergy to milk or eggs for example. Unlike diseases such as allergic eczema, the majority of rheumatic patients no specific food allergy.

Food and rheumatism
There is as yet no miracle diet for rheumatism. A direct causal link between diet and the development of rheumatic diseases has never been demonstrated. A customized nutrition based on the food triangle may be an important supporting role.

Important points
• pursue a healthy body weight not too many calories;
• Significantly reduce alcohol;
• Drink plenty of water;
• Plenty of fruit and vegetables;
• Regularly eat fish;
• include sufficient calcium through diet and dairy products are our main suppliers calcium;
• Take regular exercise has a positive effect on both bone mass and muscle function.

In other words, the recommendations are consistent with a healthy nutrition and lifestyles that it is beneficial for non- rheumatic diseases.

If you have a close relative with a rheumatic disease, you are most vulnerable. Recent research findings suggest that it might develop as a result of action by a micro-organism, a bacterium or virus that comes in contact with the immune system and causes a reaction in people with certain types of genetic predisposition.

What are the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis?
For most patients, the first signs of the disease are stiffness, sensitivity and pain in hands or feet. One or more joints swell and show every point of inflammation. Sometimes, the inflammation begins in a large joint like the knee, shoulder or ankle. Sometimes, however, the onset is more acute. Fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss and fever, all symptoms that may precede the inflammation of any joint and then turn the early signs of disease.

Rheumatoid arthritis Treatment:
Treatment aims to control inflammation, relieve the patient from pain, maintain mobility and functionality of joints and prevent deformation. The first and basic approach is to relax the joints. The use the affected joints aggravates inflammation.

The rest periods improve the situation.

The splints can be used to halt a joint and relax.

All we need is involvement, with mild exercise using physiotherapy to prevent muscle stiffness and maintain mobility and muscle strength. The swimming and hot baths can help. The performance of exercises in the water improves the situation.

A good diet helps. Foods rich in fat substances fish and plants but low in red meat can help they reduce to a small degree of inflammation.

- Whole fruits, such as apples, cherries, pineapple, grapes, oranges, bananas, kiwi, blueberries, blackberries, contain many anti-oxidants and alkalizing minerals which protect the body against damage from acidity and inflammation
- Vegetables: mixed greens, kale, chard, cucumbers, and carrots as they provide alkalizing minerals to reverse acidity in the body which can create pain and inflammation
- Don’t cook with oil as they can create free radical stress on the body
- Eat plenty of foods high in omega 3 oils which are very anti-inflammatory: walnuts, herring, mackerel, flax oil and seeds, tuna, salmon, sardines and anchovies
- Eat plenty of foods containing vitamin D as deficiency can cause chronic musculoskeletal pain and Inflammation; foods include cod liver oil, most oily fish.
- Use turmeric, cayenne pepper and rosemary to spice foods as these are all anti-inflammatory

When a patient is diagnosed with arthritis, it is important to know what type of arthritis and type is, of course, your doctor should tell them. Typically, there are three common forms of degenerative disease and to learn more about how to keep each reading.
Osteoarthritis: - This is the best way to understand the disease, resulting in the degeneration of joints. The elderly more often this experience. Despite the generality osteoarthritis can surface much earlier in one's life, possibly caused by an injury, congenital or hereditary disorder, metabolic disorder, or trauma.

Osteoarthritis attacks the smooth cartilage on bone ends. Then it wears, new forms born, causing an overgrowth along with pain when dry and exposed joints move and grate together. The disease is not usually associated with inflammation.

Arthritis: - Rheumatoid arthritis is very different from osteoarthritis. With this form of the disease, impaired immune system and causing joints to inflame. However, although the inflammation is a common response of the immune system, the body is unable to control it. This weakens the inflammation and swelling of joints and ligaments.

The disease is often diagnosed in 5 steps. Phase 1 has no visible or apparent symptoms, except those that can be detected through laboratory analysis. Phase 2 is accompanied by a small amount of stiffness (usually in the morning) and some swelling.

Phase 3 sees increased swelling and decreased mobility. This is the stage where treatments are usually introduced. Step 4 experiences the spread of disease to the cartilage and joints. Stage 5 diagnosis means the damage caused by rheumatoid arthritis is often irreparable.

Rheumatoid arthritis is typically identified during Phase 2 or Phase 3 and then the patient has shown any or all of the following symptoms for a number of weeks - joint stiffness, joint swelling, and joint swelling around both sides and swelling joints.

Spondyloarthropathies
