Abbey Lee Kershaw
Abbey Lee Kershaw (born June 12, 1987 in Melbourne, Australia) also known as Abbey Lee, is an Australian fashion model. She attended Clifton Hill Primary School and then Melbourne Secondary College, the Academy of Mary Immaculate
She has appeared in ad campaigns for brands such as Gucci, D & G and CK Jeans. Abbey Lee has appeared in editorials for V, Numéro, Chinese Vogue, and W. She has graced the cover of Australian Vogue, V and Dazed & Confused and has been photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Nick Knight, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel and Craig McDean.
Before her career in the fashion industry began when she won the Girlfriend CoverGirl Model Search in Australia and moved to Sydney from Melbourne there after, Abbey Lee worked in the bakery section at Newmarket Safeway.
She is friends with models Iekeliene Stange, Alice Burdeu and Catherine McNeil. Abbey Lee has a pierced nose (her left nostril) and a pierced nipple. She currently resides in New York, NY.
Lee is ranked equal 13th (tied with Sessilee Lopez) on the Top 50 Models Women list by models.com.
She appeared in the Victoria's Secret 2008 Fashion Show in Miami and the 2009 Fashion Show in New York City.
During Paris Fashion Week, Abbey Lee fainted at the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2009 Runway. She fainted just as she was about to exit the runway. The cause of the fainting spell was thought to be the combination of the tight corset she wore and her high heels.[citation needed]
In November 2009, Fashion TV placed her first in their First Face Countdown for Spring / Summer 2010.
