Shoes are magical. Remember how shoes changed Cinderella’s life? In reality, it can happen too. Even the most boring clothes can become the most fashionable clothes if you wear it with the right shoes.

I’m not a huge fan of shoes until I realized how important shoes are. It may sounds crazy but sometimes, shoes can hinder us from going to places we love.

Gastroenteritis, Symptoms can be Dryness of Mucous

What is gastroenteritis?
Gastroenteritis is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach or intestine is often accompanied by diarrhea. It is usually acute, lasting no longer than 7 days and resolves on its own, which does not absolve care to minimize potential adverse effects.

Symptoms
* The symptoms are diverse, depending on whether it affects adults or children, but are common: Abdominal pain.
* Increased stool volume and bowel movements.
* Diarrhea
* It may be accompanied Fever.
* Nausea or vomiting.

Other symptoms of gastroenteritis can be Dryness of mucous
* Chills.
* Cold, clammy skin.
* Sweating.
* Incontinence.
* Hypotension.
* Bloody diarrhea.

Causes
The causes of gastroenteritis can be many but the most common are infection by viruses, bacteria or parasites. The disease occurs after contact with a diarrheal agent that impairs the absorption-secretion in the stomach and intestine.

This results in increased water in the digestive tract and the inability to absorb it, so it is vacated in the form of vomiting or diarrhea.

The resulting dehydration is the general characteristic of gastroenteritis and the sign that reflects the gravity. In general, the higher the frequency is higher in the stools and vomiting.

Natural Treatment of Gastroenteritis
There is usually no need for pharmacological intervention as gastroenteritis usually solved by itself. Although there are treatments to minimize potential adverse effects, the most important thing is to avoid dehydration. The steps are as follows:
* Bed rest.
* Avoid eating.
* Rehydrate.

When will we eat?
Generally, in return of appetite, nausea and vomiting had disappeared. While there are quantities and control what you eat.

They are well tolerated vegetable broths, herbal teas, apple juice. Cereals and potatoes but also better pureed or cream, and help thicken the stool. Avoid excessively fatty foods, sugary foods and high fiber cereals. Dairy products are not recommended because they contain lactose and saturated fats difficult to digest in these circumstances.

Contrary to what is believed, it is shown that neither fasting nor astringent diet (bananas, toast, rice and apple) are more effective in shortening the duration of diarrhea of gastroenteritis.

The return to a balanced diet to be gradual and progressive.

When they are gone gastroenteritis symptoms can be cured with a grated apple. Is to eat 3 times a day between meals, 1 grated apple which is allowed to stand until dark and then consume.

With its copper acts as a disinfectant and anti-inflammatory, also helps to dislodge the fiber remains of the germs that might occur.

The most memorable birthday for me is during my 18^thbday. You know how girls celebrate their 18^th bday. Although I didn’t celebrate it as bongga as other people would, it was my most memorable bday. My friends were there and also my family, my friend’s family and few relatives.

I celebrated my birthday in Emerald’s Garden, one of our favorite restaurants, located along Roxas Boulevard. I seriously love Chinese foods! They have the most delicious siopao ever!!! (ofcourse, I did not have siopao on my bday ‘coz that would be quite funny, however, we do order siopao every time we go there).

After dinner, me, my twin, my friends ,my twin’s friend, my sisters, cousins, my mom and dad went to Bedrock, a small bar in Malate. Basically, that’s how simple I celebrated my bday but it was totally fun. It was a night full of foods, drinks, kwentuhan, whatnots!

What is indigestion?

NYX ROUND LIPSTICK IN EROS

Do you know when is the last time I posted a lipstick review on my blog?? It was last April 27. LOL! I was asking myself, “Why on earth am I not posting lipsticks review??” then I realized it is because I haven’t been buying lipsticks for quite a while now. The last lipstick I bought was from Etude House (Look at my lips) which I got just a month ago. I don’t use it that much though since the lasting power is so-so. Just 1-2 months ago, I tweeted that I want to purchase Mac Lipstick ‘coz someone is doing a preorder. Then, I realized that in reality, I really don’t wear lipstick that much. In school, I usually bring only few things on my makeup kit such as powder, brush, Le faerie lipgloss (in case I want to have a neutral color on my lips) and Careline lipgloss in 101.

Anyway, I don’t know if this introduction makes any sense but I just want to share with you why am I not posting lipsticks reviews.

Moving on, today, I decided to do a lipstick review for a change. And the lipstick that I decided to do a review on is definitely not my usual on-the-go lip color.

I am not a huge fan of red lipsticks, I usually wear nudes and pinks. I originally have 4 red lip color but then, just few days ago I decided to give my Avon red lipstick to my tita (aunt) since it is a really really bright red color, I just can’t wear it.

NYX ROUND LIPSTICK IN EROS

COLOR:

On tube, it was like a true red color but when I swatched it on the back of my hand, I noticed that it has a slight orange undertone to it.

Definitely, a great color if you’re looking for a warm toned red lipstick.

Packaging:

It comes in a simple round, black packaging.

I like that you can see the name of the shade on top and it has a color cap on the bottom which is exactly the same as the color of the lipstick itself.

The packaging is made from a cheap material, not sturdy at all. You’ll really get what you paid for.

Smells:

It has a distinct smell that I can’t explain. People often describe that it has a “soap like smell” but for me it wasn’t anything like soap. Although, I must agree that it tastes like soap. The scent doesn’t bother me. It is the unique characteristic of this lipstick. In fact, I could tell that this is a nyx rls, even with my eyes closed, by just smelling it.

Pigmentation:

No doubt, it is one of the most pigmented kind of lipsticks I ever owned.It is very true to color on my lips.

Texture/Finish/Consistency

The lipstick is rich and creamy, thus, glides really smoothly on my lips. Once applied on lips, it has this slightly glossy in it but not as glossy as if you’re wearing a lipgloss on top. It dries into a nice matte finish. It doesn’t makes my lips dry inspite of being a red lipstick. You can use or not use lipbalm underneath.

Staying Power:

For nyx rls in general, the lasting power is so-so. Nyx rls would have been my HG only if the lasting power was good. But it wasn’t. It wasn’t good, not even average for most of the colors.

For Nyx Eros, this would last me few hours WITHOUT drinking. However, I notice that when I drink water,the color fades away but will atleast leaves stain on my lips. Inspite of that, i still think that it is pretty average. The staying power of careline lipglosses are better than this honestly.

Price: Php 150-Php 300. Depending on where you'll get it.

MY ELICINA CHALLENGE!

It’s been a month since I received this lovely package from Elicina Philippines. However, I am not still ready to give you a review on the product/s. I don’t like to review products for the sake of just blogging about it. If I have to say something about the products in my blog, I want it true and based from own honest experience.

I tried Elicina Cream like a week since I received it but then, after that, I stopped using it. Oh no, not because it did not works for me. It’s just that during that time, I bought a certain product for pimples and I want to test if it would really works for me. And since both are for pimples, I decided to stop using Elicina temporarily to give way to the product that I am testing. After a month, I notice no improvements on my skin. Therefore, I decided to give up trying that product and to use Elicina.

So, this post is just to inform you that I will be using no other creams for pimples starting today, only Elicina. Let’s see if my skin condition will improve or not. As starting point of the challenge, here are my pictures.

I told you, I’m breaking out so badly! :,( And yes, this is far my worst breakout ever. Please bear with me. It took me alot of courage to post it up. No bad comments please LOL! I have been a good girl, do not let me down. ;p
