GEO: Bella 205 (Gray) Circle Lenses

I’m back again. I've been trying my best to upload reviews every day for this week. Can you tell?
Today’s review is a contact lenses sent by Jhia of Red Jhelli Shop.

Red Jhelli Shop is an online shop that sells Geo lenses (and Mary Kay products). I guarantee you, she is selling ONLY ORIGINAL circle lenses. I already checked the authenticity of these lenses.
Bella BS-205 (Gray) has 14.2 mm diameter, the typical diameter I use for contact lenses. For me, this size is best for people who like to make their eyes bigger but still looking natural. If you want this design but would like to get a bigger effect, I suggest to you to purchase the Xtra Bella Gray (15mm) instead.

Unlike the two lenses I’ve tried from Geo circle lenses (angel and nudy), this appears to be less obvious on my eyes. The design is nothing fancy, just a black/gray-ish spiked design on the outer ring of the circle lenses.
I like these lenses because the design enhances the eyes (brightens up the eyes) without going overboard. It is the most natural looking contact lenses I had so far.
I have dark brown eyes and these circle lenses shows decently in natural lighting.  As expected, inspite of being called “Gray,” this appears to be deep blue on my eyes.

This is my 4th geo contact lenses, if I’m not mistaken. Just like all the other Geo lenses that I’ve tried, these are comfortable to wear but do not wear them for so long (less than 8 hours, please).

However, I admit, I don’t wear contact lenses most of the time. Back then, I use contact lenses every single day and most often than not I use contact lenses for more than 6 hours.

Just like what I’ve said in all my past posts in geo lenses,   I wouldn’t recommend you to wear it for a year, even if the life span of this lense is good for 1 year. Also, wear them for only 6 hours maximum starting 4th month from 1st purchased to avoid any discomfort.

Let's admit it, contact lenses aren't always comfortable to wear. If you feel like your lenses are hurting your eyes already, use some lubricants or remove your contact lenses and let your eyes rest for a while.

Overall, I recommend this circle lenses if you seek for a natural looking eyes. Otherwise, this may disappoint you.

If you like dolly looking eyes, go for 15mm and/or check other designs available at Red Jhelli Shop. You can get  "free shipping" by using my code "RED-ELOISA01."

ENJOY SHOPPING!

This picture was taken for my newest "fashion edition" (soon!) post on my blog! Hope you'll like it!
Ana also received the same circle lenses and she used it on her youtube videos. Check her channel HERE. Please subscribe to her channel, she's amazing! Like her fan page HERE too!

Geo Contact lenses in Nudy Gray

I’m back with another long overdue post! I’m getting better at this. LOL! Last December (and January is almost over, good girl Eloisa!), Val of Dull to doll shop, sent this contact lenses to me. As usual, I did checked the authenticity before giving my reviews on the contact lenses, so rest assured, Val is selling only AUTHENTIC contact lenses. (Btw, she’s selling Nyx products too!)

When Val asked me on what lenses I would like to do reviews on, I really had no idea what to choose! Then, I came across Diane’s blog. I saw her review on Geo Nudy Brown. Her post reminded me on how bad I wanted to try Nudy lenses back then. I’m always thankful for being a blogger because I get to try things for free!

Anyway, I opted for Nudy Gray because gray appears more nicer (compared to brown) and more obvious on my eyes but still looking natural! Although sometimes I get tired of wearing the same lenses all the time. I promise, one of these days I will go beyond my comfort zone!(hay, eto na naman ang promise ko! LOL!)

DESIGN

Nudy Gray has 14.2mm diameter. Just enough to make my eyes look bigger but not abnormally larger.  If you’re aiming for anime-looking eyes, go for 15mm.

The name “Nudy” is just perfect to describe the effect of the lenses on my eyes. It gives my eyes a blurry, pixelated, teary-eyes effect. It’s so gorgeous from afar and on photographs! (refer to pic, db? db?) It makes anybody’s eyes glow!

COMFORT

I’ve read bad comments and reviews on these lenses. They said that Nudy gray is so itchy (and uncomfortable) on eyes unlike most geo lenses. But for me, it was totally okay. Never blurry, just as comfie as my other geo lenses.

Note: With my experience on my past geo contact lenses, during the 4th month and so, I notice that my head would hurt if I wear it for more than my usual 7-8 hours. So, definitely, I wouldn’t recommend you to wear/ use it for a year, even if the life span of this lenses is good for 1 year. Also, wear them for only 6 hours maximum starting 4th month from 1st purchased to avoid any discomfort.

Again, these are not the most comfortable contact lenses on the Earth! My sister bought a freshlook contact lenses and she haven’t had any discomforts using that even A MONTH AFTER THE EXPIRATION. (Though, I wouldn’t recommend you wearing your lenses beyond its life span! Pasaway lang talaga yun si Ate ko, LOL, mahal daw kasi.). Yes, freshlook contact lenses are far more comfortable than geo lenses. But hey, not everyone can afford to spend Php 1,400 / month for a pair of colored lenses from Freshlook, right? (And yes, I wouldn’t too!) You can purchase geo lenses, use it for just few months until you’re still comfortable wearing it, then just throw it away. Sometimes, I do have this kind of thinking (with other contact lenses) that I have to use a contact lenses until the end of its life span (even if it hurts my eyes badly!) because it’s freaking expensive. But with geo lenses, hell no! It’s affordable, so even before the end of the life span of these lenses (probably on the 6th-7th month from the day I received it), I try to use another new lenses. (Malaking tipid narin yun, no! :p )

Overall, I have been loving these lenses.  You can save a lot of money without sacrificing the quality and comfort!

BTW, Val is having a great giveaway contest right now. It's not yet too late to join. Click HERE to direct you on her shop.

To Val: Thanks again Val for letting me try this great contact lenses, and for your patience in my delayed post. :)

Anyway, here are some of my pics wearing this contact lenses!

I am wearing one of my favorite lipsticks! Mac pink nouveau although, the pictures doesn't give justice on how pretty the color really is. it looks more purple than pink.  btw, i tried thick eyebrows in here. umuuso lang! :) Appreciate, don't hate! Hugggssss!

Geo Angel Brown

I started wearing contact lenses back in my highschool years (more than 5 yrs now). This is my second contact lenses from a korean brand. The first I’ve tried is Geo Angel Gray which is absolutely a gorgeous color although it appears bluish on my eyes. I believe I haven’t done any reviews on that. Anyway, I had that like few months ago.

In this POST, I told you that Jhia, owner of Red Jhelli Shop, sent me contact lenses more than a month ago for me to do a review on.

Of course, the first thing I did was to check the authenticity of the contact lenses (both left and right). I wouldn’t recommend anything that will harm my readers.

So, I guarantee you that Jhia is selling only authentic geo contact lenses.

Moving on.

The contact lenses I got was Geo Angel Brown. Compared to the geo angel gray, this appears to be more natural on me. I have dark brown eyes and this lightens the shade of my natural eye color. I really like that it enlarges my eyes too.

Comfort: They are comfortable even if I wear them for a long time, especially during the first two months. In fact, I wear them to school before for more than 8 hours straight. I know, it is not advisable to wear them for that long but I never had any discomfort on my eyes.

With my experience on my past lenses, during the 4thmonth and so, I notice that my head would hurt if I wear it for more than my usual 7-8 hours. So, definitely, I wouldn’t recommend you to wear it for a year, even if the life span of this lense is good for 1 year. Also, wear them for only 6 hours maximum starting 4th month from 1st purchased to avoid any discomfort.

Price:
Cheap compared to lenses you can purchase in malls.

Red Jhelli Shop prices:
1st purchase = 650 pesos
2nd purchase = 600 pesos3rd and succeeding purchases = 550 pesos

Here is me wearing GEO ANGEL BROWN
(sorry sa mga pimples ko,di carry ng concealer yung iba. hahaha. breakout kasi ako naun)

Lovely package from Red Jhelli Shop

Yesterday, I received a very lovely package from Red Jhelli Shop! I was actually expecting a package from Red Jhelli Shop because she texted me the day before  that she already sent the contact lenses for my review. But then, when I opened the package, I was surprised that she also included Mary Kay TimeWise Foundation! Last time, I told her that I was looking for a good liquid foundation from Mary Kay and suggested this to me. I did not buy it for two reason: 1) I need to save money since it’s quite pricey 2) I’m not sure what shade I will get. So can you imagine how happy i am when I saw this foundation on my package!

Aside from the two items, she made a personal letter for me and I was so touched that I had to share it here:
Ms. Eloisa, a wonderful day to you,

I hope the package would arrive safely and I hope the lenses are to your liking =)

I decided to add another item as thank you gift for giving us your time to do a review and also to thank God for giving me another year to live life to the fullest! (Will celebrate my birthday this October).it’s always best to share and just give.
I do hope the shade would fit your skin tone. I even asked my sales director and she said to not worry because they are really blendable and if I remember it correctly, for foundations its best to choose a shade darker than one shade lighter when in doubt. Please do correct me if I am wrong.

I just started out as Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and I really have a lot to learn, that’s why I had trouble answering your questions last time.

Business aside, I pray that we could call ourselves friends in the future; it makes the World a lot better to live when people don’t call each other “strangers.”

Before end this letter, I would like to ask you a favour. This October also happens to be called the “The Pink Month” or the month of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A lot of women, both young and old, die due to breast cancer. Breast cancer or any form of cancer is a hard and painful way to die. Those who survive it live to tell the tale of hope and those who die are the women who never gave up even in their trying times. Sadly, there is still no cure for cancer. But there is a way to prevent the severity of disease and that is to do “Breast Self Examination.” I would love to encourage you and rest of the women in the Philippines to make this a routine and spread the Word! Let’s help save LIVES!
I wish you all the best in your endeavours and love to read more of your blogs. Life is too short to live in sorrow, so live it.

Take Care and Godbless,
Jhia <3

Mid-June Haul

First, my greetings to all dads! Happy Father’s day to all dads!

Secondly, a shout out to my twin’s friend Jessica. Hi Jessica! Thanks for reading my blog! When my twin told me about you, I was flattered and worried at the same time. Oh my goodness, you’re a UP graduate (now, taking Medicine at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila) and you’re reading my blog. I’m sure you’re very good in English but thank you for appreciating my blog. Feel free to correct my grammars hahaha! Just kidding! But seriously, I was very happy when she told me that you are really reading my blog without knowing that Elena is actually my sister. J

Third, sharing time! These are the few things I got for mid-June. I bought very few makeup items, yey! What a good girl, Eloisa! I’m so proud of you.

Anyways, let’s start!

Makeup Items:

Modelco Designer Eyebrow Kit in Dark
My first purchase for the month of June. I got this from GTalk. I know. I still have many eyebrow kits from elf to finish but the hell, I was surprised that she is selling a brandnew Modelco Eyebrow kit for a cheaper price (price in Manila is around Php 1,400). I love this until I had my hair dyed. Can't use it for now   since it works well with black hairs. I might consider buying the Elf treat and tame one of these days. But for now, say hello to my cabinet. Oh I almost forgot, I use the stencils every single day. It helps me alot in making my eyebrows well groomed. I was thinking of doing a eyebrow tutorial using powder and wax, or pencils, or both. If you like the idea, feel free to comment down below.

Everbilena Original Pencil in Brown, Php 80.00
Compared to one I used before, Ever Bilena Eye Color Pencil in Brown, this is php 8.00 cheaper and the color is much lighter than EB Eyecolor. But in terms of consistency, EB Eyecolor is waxier. The only reason why I purchased this instead of the EB Eyecolor is because the shade is lighter brown. EB Eyecolor in Brown is good for people with dark hair. I will be doing a comparison and swatching in the future, no worries.
Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lipliner in 02, Php 98
My last makeup purchased. I'm into nude lips right now. I like wearing nude lips more than pinks so I decided to buy a nude lip liner. The color is just okay. It's a nude brown with peach undertone. It looks exactly the same as my lip color.

Non-Makeup things!

Etude House Petit Darling Nails in OR203, BR305, PP901. Php 98 each
My first nail polishes purchased! Yes, you read it right. I'm never a nail polish person though I've been using nail polish before. But I don't buy my own nail polish. I always borrow my sister's and mother's nail polishes. But now, I decided to buy 3 from Etude House since they're having 20 percent off until June 21. The nail polishes from EH are really great! Stays longer than drugstore nail polishes plus the colors are really nice. I don't like the matte nail polishes though.

Etude House Essence Mask, Php 58.00
I haven't tried it yet. But i will review this as soon as I can.
Etude House Natural Jelly Cleansing Puff, Php178
Again, haven't tried it yet also since it is written in Korean. But But I guess, this is a puff you use in scrubbing your face??
Happy Teatime Water Proof Lip and Eye Remover Tissue, Php 148
I was about to buy Eye and Lip Makeup remover (liquid form) at Etude House since it is much cheaper than this. But for the 3rd time I went back, it is always out of stock! So I decided to buy this instead and I was really satisfied. I like the smell and really removes my waterproof mascara.
Etude House Greentea Nose Pack, Php 38
I haven't tried it yet since I don't have much blackheads on my nose for now. But I will definitely use this one of these days.
Etude House AC Clinic Calming Mist Spray, Php 298

The only reason why i purchased this is because of Secret Garden. Remember the girl who uses spray thing-y to moisturize her face. I told myself, "Oh, it looks fun!" So I decided to purchase anything that you have to spray on your face. I was thinking of buying the other one which is the Aqua Cure Mist but since it was pricier at Php 448 I decided to buy the AC Clinic instead. haha! Plus, since it has salicylic acid, it helps prevent acne.
SkinFood Gold Caviar Premium Kit, Php 500-600 at Ebay.ph
One thing I hate about Skinfood in Malls, they're extremely overpriced! Yes, extremely like 100-200% higher than the price in Korea or even in Ebay. The heck, never buy skinfood at Malls. Okay? haha! Anyhow, I haven't tried it yet since I still have alot of skincare products that I need to finish. but I will do a review on this once I'm ready.
Body Recipe Eye Cream in Cucumber
Actually, my twin sister is the one who bought this. Ohh, i love it! It moisturizes my eyes without hurting your pockets plus I love the scents of cucumber.
EO Flexwear Contact Lense in Gray, Php 720
Yes, it's a gray contact lense though it looks yellow. haha! It's okay, I'm not inlove but I don't hate it either. It is comfortable to wear, doesn't hurt my eyes especially when I use the solution down below. BUT, I'm still inlove with Geo Lenses. They look great one my eyes, the only con with Geo Lenses is that they are so freaking drying on my eyes. I wish EO would offer the same colors like the one from Geo Angel range.

Solo Care Aqua, Php 259
So far the best solution I ever tried! For 5 years of wearing contact lenses, I've tried different brands of solution like NeoPlus, Sauflon, Freshlook and other solutions that I can no longer remember the name. But really, this is the best so far. I wear contact lenses up to 12 hours straight and belive it, my eyes doesn't hurt that much compared with other solutions. Another thing, with this, I find it easier to put my contact lenses on. If you are someone who wears contact lenses, I highly recommend you to try this solution.
