Look at what I've discovered

Look at what I've discovered when I accidentally dropped my Skin79 BB Cream

After I dropped my Old Skin79 BB Cream

More BB CREAM inside the bottle! Hooray!

Yey, i'm so happy. I don't like wasting products you know :) I'm about to throw this because i thought it was empty. But I was wrong! ^_^

Try this at home. Forcefully open the top of your Skin79 BB cream using Screw driver or ruler or anything you think you can use.

I reassemble it afterwards.

MY WONDERFUL AND MOUTHWATERING EXPERIENCE AT CENTURY PARK HOTEL (Café in the Park)

MY WONDERFUL AND MOUTHWATERING EXPERIENCE AT CENTURY PARK HOTEL (Café in the Park)

You read it right! This is post is all about foods and my yummy experience at Century Park Hotel Restaurant. So, sit back and enjoy the delicious foods!

Let me start this by saying, “I LOVE FOODS!” I love Chinese Cuisines as much as I love makeup. LOL! My grandfather is a Chinese and that makes my father a half Chinese and half Filipino. That explains why I love Chinese and Filipino Foods. Honestly, I prefer Asian foods more than Burgers and Fries or even Steaks.

Moving on, yesterday, my family and I went to dine at Century Park Hotel and believe me, if you’re a person who loves Asian food, you’ll never regret dining here! They serve wide selection of lunch buffets from different Cuisines from Asian foods (Chinese and Japanese) to American and Mediterranean Cuisine! Though, it’s a bit pricey, I think it’s around Php 1,200 something + Additional Charges (RVAT, Municipal Vat and 10% Service Charge). Drinks are expensive too. I think Mango Juice, the one I ordered, costs Php 305 plus charges. (FYI, I did not pay for anything. You know I can’t afford it! LOL. Father paid for everything ;p)

I almost forgot! Century Park Hotel is located just beside Harrison Plaza and SM Malate. We dine at Café in the Park, the restaurant at the left side of the lobby near the grand staircase.

Me and my twin :)

With my Older sister
And of course, my dad!

Here's the pictures of the restaurant

So, now the foods!
The foods, as usual, are well-arranged according to its variety. Main Course are placed the middle. Placed at the right side are the desserts (cakes, fruits, chocolates and more!) At the left side, you can see the Asian and Mediterranean Cuisines

Here's a picture of my plate LOL!

My favorite pink salmon!!! Yummy!
Sinigang na Pink Salmon
Mr. Crab

Oh gosh! I really enjoy eating!
Some Chinese Foods (Siomai and etc) ;p

Japanese Foods

That's for the main course and some Chinese and Japanese foods! Now, the desserts!!!!
Brownies, Cakes, Chocolates and more!
Halo-halo and Ice cream!
Forgot the name! But, I really love this!
Carrot cake, Chocolate Cake and Chocolates haha!

Another Chocolate Cake! Yummy!

A mint-flavored Chocolate
Mango Crepe!

My favorite Fruits! Strawberry, Watermelon and Dragon Fruit!

See, all of this for Php 1,200++ (drinks not included) . Pricey but it's worth every cent!

Have a nice day!

SKIN 79 HOT PINK BB CREAM

Before buying any makeup online, I make sure to google it first. I don’t like wasting money you know. J

What is BB Cream?
BB cream, also known as Blemish Balm or Blemish Base, is a cosmetic item sold in Korea.
It was initially used by dermatologists to help laser surgery patients protect, soothe and refine highly sensitive skin while providing light coverage for post-laser scars, acne and other blemishes. Additionally, BB cream encourages skin regeneration and helps to maintain youthful skin.

Originally formulated in Germany, BB cream has in recent years gained a huge following for its skin-regenerating properties and is now also widely used in Asia to provide natural-looking skin coverage. Korean celebrities and cosmetic companies were the first to discover BB cream and the craze for this wonder cream, which beautifies while healing, has now spread from Korea to Japan to South East Asia and is already quickly making its way to Europe and the USA.

It’s oohh so tempting! BB Creams, according to some reliable people in the internet, acts as foundation but much better. It provides coverage but unlike most foundations, it helps improve skin.

I was like, “Ohhh, I have to buy this!” I want to try liquid foundation because I haven’t tried any since I was born.LOL. But, I was scared that liquid foundation might damage my skin. But, if this would make my skin better, why not right?

So, as usual, I look for a reliable seller in ebay for Korean makeup. I purchase sample size of bb creams which includes Skin79 hot pink, Lioele Beyond Solution, Missha Perfect Cover and Skinfood in Aloe Vera. I tried everything one at a time.

In terms of Coverage, Skin 79 hot pink and Skin food provide, in my opinion, light to medium coverage. Lioele and Missha provide medium to full coverage. Though, lioele was too light for me. So I ended up with Skin79 vs Skinfood vs Missha. In terms of oil control, I can’t say which is better since I’m not that oily and I topped bb creams with powder. So, can't really test which is better in oil control.

Anyways, moving on. Among the three, I bought the full size of Skin79 Hot pink. Now, you’re wondering why? I do like Skinfood Aloe Vera and Skin 79 because it's light on skin compared to Missha but Skin79 has more benefits than Skinfood! Which is why I choose Skin79!

So, here’s the picture of full size Skin 79 HOT PINK.

Skin 79 “SUPER BEBLESH BALM, TRIPLE FUNCTIONS: WHITENING, UV PROTECTION SPF 35 PA++ AND WRINKLE-FREE” says,

It is 3 effectes functional beblesh balm.
By Adenosine and Arbutin which are effective in whitening, wrinkles improvement cultivate more bright and elastic skin
Intercept ultraviolet rays UV A and B at the same time and protect skin exposed from the sun more thoroughly
OSMOPUR ingredient of new concept which are mixed Sunflower, rice bran, ivy extracts protect skin from various Harmful conditions.

So, here's my review:

As you can see in this picture, it has a gray undertone to it...

even if spreads out..

But once blended, the gray undertone disappears which helps brighten skin..

It has this really fine shimmers which makes skin looks dewy and glowing.

Here’s a picture of me. (pardon my face, I don’t have any makeup and just woke up!)
Since I just woke up, I decided to make this BB cream test for you, so you could really see the difference!

I apply Skin79 BB cream at one part of my face. Hope you can see the difference..
(i know, it's hard to see the difference with that kind of lighting! Let me take another shot with a better lighting)

Here's another shot (close up! smile!)

Can you guess which part has BB cream?

Let me zoom it so you could see the difference closely! Look at my pores!

Let me zoom it again!

(not edited)

See, it provides a light to medium coverage, tightens pores and leaves skin with dewy looking skin!

PROS
>Works as foundation but 10x better ‘coz it helps improves my skin!
>Compared to other bb creams out there, it has 3-in-1 function
>Has mild scent like those in powders
>It has thick consistency but can blends easily using foundation brush or fingers!
>A little goes a long way. 40g bottle lasts me 5 months with everyday use!
>Light on skin
>I tried applying it many times, but does not look cakey
>Good job in tightening pores
>For oily and combination skins like mine (if you have dry to normal, try the Gold one instead)
> Dewy finish
>All-in-one cosmetics! Can be use as primer or base for powder foundation, use as foundation alone, can be use as sunblock because it has SPF 25 PA++and Moisturizer. Imagine how much you can save by only using this!
>In my makeup routine, I use this as base. I topped it with my powder/foundation. But when I’m in hurry or don’t want the hassle of foundation or I don’t need much coverage, I use this alone. Makes my skin dewy looking!

CONS
>Not available locally. Can be purchased online
>1 Shade only

I like this a lot because it’s something I can trust my skin. I like this 10x better than foundation because when I use it, I feel no guilt because I know it’s helping my skin instead of hurting/damaging it!

PRICE: It varies. Php 900 – Php1000+. Online seller
Rate: 5/5
Would I recommend it? If you’re a too-busy-person-for-makeup definitely I will! If you hate too much products on face, this will work on you! If you’re looking for a sheer to medium coverage that won’t hurt your skin, this one is for you! Again, what works for me might not work for you but this is definitely worth a try!

Elf Luscious Liquid Lipstick

Elf Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Pink Lemonade

Elf says,
"True color therapy is here. Intensive hydrating agents along with natural pigments leave lips with long-lasting color and moisture. This luscious liquid lipstick creates wearable color that flatters a multitude of skin tones and looks"

The moment I applied this, I was disappointed because I was expecting a liquid “lipstick” not a gloss. It has this slight amount of color but looks like a gloss on me. It’s hydrating and feels good because it doesn’t give me this sticky feeling on my lips. Not long lasting though. It stays for an hour or less.Though, I still think it’s worth a try. If you’re looking for a lip gloss that’s not too sticky, I do recommend this. It has many beautiful shades I’m sure you’ll love. So, that's it! I still like this.

PROS
>I like the sponge applicator
>Works as Lip gloss
> doesn't dry out my lips as it wears off
>Makes my lips really luscious looking
>CHEAP!

CONS
>Don’t expect you get a lot of product on this tube
>Not a LIPSTICK! Poor Pigmentation
>Not a long wearing product. You have to apply it every now and then

PRICE: Php 130 at E.l.f.
Rate: 3.5/5
Would I recommend this? Yes, it's worth a try. It's moisturizing and affordable. Just don't expect too much. :) Again, not a lipstick! Not long lasting! :)

BARE NATURALS FOCUS FLAT TOP

From site (http://barenaturals.multiply.com/photos/album/60/SOFTEST_FOCUS_FLAT_TOP_now_available)

“A flat top brush that's SOFT, won't shed and can apply your foundation and setting powder seamlessly!”

According to some bloggers, this flat top brush is like an EDM flat top. I have this brush for almost 3 months, I’ve washed this couple of times, never shed nor bleed.

PROS
> No shedding
>Even after 3 months, it remains the softest. Just like new!
> Cheap. Only Php 419 + shipping.
>The size is handy
> I’ve never tried it on liquid or cream foundation, but works very good in applying powder foundation. It provides good coverage.

CONS
>NONE!

RATE: 5/5
Would I recommend this? Yes, I highly recommend this!
