Oh, just want to update you with my recent purchase.

I bought St. Ives Facial wash and Lip ice this morning.

I already tried this today. It reminds me of Olay Total effects Facial wash because the consistency of this facial wash is like a cream/ hair conditioner. If you tried that, you know what I mean. LOL! Does not deliver tightening feeling afterwash. Although, I was hesitant that this would really removes makeup. So, after washing my face, I tried to clean my face with toner. Take a look!

 See? Does not remove my makeup very well. Oh well, this disappoints me. Although, I still love St. Ives Facial Scrub. I might give other variant of St. Ives a try. There are lots to choose from. 

And looks who’s jealous with Lip Ice. It’s me! I’m so jealous and decided to purchase one for myself. I bought Sheer Color since Pammy likes this. I already tried this and so far, I like it. Let’s see how far this lippie will go. Like to love? Maybe. What do you think?

My Everyday makeup

I’m never a huge fan of smoky eyes or red lips. But, I would like to try them out someday! For now, I’m always aiming for an everyday makeup look. You know, something not too colorful, or sparkling. Just something that will enhance my natural beauty. I believe anyone could look perfect with only perfect brows. Oh well… practice makes perfect.. but perfect brows are really hard to achieve. I always do my brows, from shaving to shaping, so if you have any tutorials there for achieving perfect brows, lemme know!

I do like commercials on blog post, haha! Anyways, I just want to show you my everyday makeup look. I was thinking of doing FOTD look, but wait, how could I? I keep doing the same makeup everyday! Hahaha! (except for lipstick). 

My everyday makeup look includes doing brows, foundation, concealing, blushes which I often skipped, lipstick, mascara and eyeliner on my lower lash line then I’m ready to go. I spend most of the time doing my eyes and brows. I think it’s the most important part of my everyday makeup (maybe, that’s just me!) aside from foundation, ofcourse.

MAYBELLINE WATERSHINE PURE

This will be a short post since I don’t like telling more “me” today.

This product was almost there until tada, a mistake! Not my HG, never will.

I must admit, I was really tempted by Watershine as they offer beautiful shades with a watery healthy finish. Of course, I did try this before buying. That’s my mistake. I fell inlove with the color and short time effect it gives my lips. Eventually, I ended up giving it to my sister who actually can live with the lasting power of this lipstick. Well, I don’t! 

I’ve tried lot of lipstick but this is my nightmare! I can’t believe on how bad the lasting power of this lipstick! I tried applying it on my lips, just to test the staying power. Guess what? After 30 mins, it’s gone! Maybe because it’s sheer and the color I choose is pinkish nude but what the heck, who would want a lipstick that would stay only for few minutes (except for my sister, I guess!)??

If only the lasting power was decent, this would be a plus plus as the colors are really pretty, the packing is beautiful and it’s affordable! And the finish is totally awesome. But, again, I can never live with lipstick that will lasts for few minutes. So, although it’s an “almost-there” awesome lipstick, it’s not for me. 

PROS:

>The packaging is adorable, it doesn’t look cheap!

> Healthy looking lips

> Comes in many adorable shades

CONS

> The staying power is awe-so-ful! (Awful)

ELLANA MAKE IT LAST PRIMER

Ellana Mineral Makeup--- the brand I used to love. 

My second eldest sister discovered this long time ago (She’s a sucker of mineral makeup and organics products) and recommends this to me. I’ve been using Ellana Mineral Makeup for quite a looong time. So here’s my review.

                 

ELLANA MAKE IT LAST PRIMER

                BTW, I tried using their mineral foundation. I used to love it until one day, I met Elf Studio Line Foundation realized convenience of a compact foundation. LOL! 

Back to the product, the make it last primer! This is my first primer… (Together with ellana sheer velvet in white chocolate) that’s why I can’t compare it with other primers out there. 

I love how this primer makes my makeup application lots easier! This makes a perfect base for liquid foundation, BB Creams, loose powders and mineral makeup! It makes my face really smooth as it evens out the application of any foundation. 

 If you like flawless effect, you can use this as base then top it with bb cream then your favorite foundation to sets it! It works for me! 

The only thing I hate about this is, it doesn’t make your makeup last longer. I would prefer the name. Ellana Make it smooth!  LOL! Oh well, at least I’m not a huge fan of forever there makeup. I can live with makeup that lasts atleast 3-4 hours on me (except for brows, mascara and eyeliner). So, I would really still purchase this someday. Or maybe, I would give other brands a try, what do you think? Maybe, Bare Naturals Primer?

*Edited: I discovered that this helps me prevent breakout too because foundation primer helps prevent your skin from absorbing talc and pigments from foundation. Talc clogs pores and leads to breakout.! I tried this underneath my IN2IT foundation and amazingly, it works! Now, I'm using my in2it foundation again together with this and i really love it!

MY RECENT HAUL

Just want to share you my purchase yesterday.

My favorite purchase this week was St. Ives Blemish and Blackhead control. I used to have this long long time ago… Oh well. I love this scrub!

This product is oh-so-amazing! Waking up was always the hardest part because I have to deal with oily face, large pores and more! But this scrub is so wonderful in controlling oil. I swear, it leaves no trace of oiliness on my face (though large pores are still there).

I wish I could have time to review this next week. I’ve been really busy.

I also bought Belo Pore Refining Whitening Toner.

Lastly, my contact lenses from EO emotions. I was lucky to have this for only Php 850 per pair. Originally, it was Php 1100. Php 250 off makes me and my wallet really happy!

I like this because it makes my eyes look bigger!
